Ice dancing in Sochi by kamilla

On the ice in the ice palace arena in Sochi, ice dancers gracefully glided across the floor, filled with emotion and anxiety for their future .Each one of the final 5 dances were glorious, but what Meryl Davis and Charlie White (American gold medalists for ice dancing in Sochi) had was they were so professional, as they walked on the ice they just owned the ice .the American team was also very expressive and innovative with their lifts.

The Russian team was fierce and sharp with their moves, and were very good at complicated lifts and twizzles.

The Canadian team trained with the American ice dancing team, so they knew who their competition was and what they needed to do to win .they also were very acrobatic and were very synchronized even though in the ice dancing qualifying round Tessa Virtue (Canadian ice dancer) missed a spin and was not synchronized with her partner( Scott Mior). Later on, she managed to turn that around in the finals.

The Italian team Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte executed their lifts wonderfully and were very in control of their bodies and they looked like they were having a great time.

The Japanese ice dancers Cathy Reed and Chris Reed are brother and sister so I think that they had a special bond on the ice and off the ice, I think that helped them as a team be stronger when they were skating.

Overall it was amazing to see people are so determined and can do such amazing on the ice and off it. But at the end of the day it is not about who won or lost it is about what you accomplished and that you tried to your best ability.

I was watching the Superbowl, eating, having soda, just having a great time until the first play of the game.
Payton manning: Wait
Center: Did he say hike?
BOOM! THE CENTER SNAPPED IT! Safety... POOP! I was so disipointed. Then the next time the broncos have the ball... INTERSEPTION! DOUBLE POOP! I left to punch a book, then to play Xbox, then go  on the computer, then came back. It just got worse. 28-0. So i watched in shame and dissipointed.  Then I saw manning on the phone. I thought if he was calling the person who put the lights out in Superbowl 47.  I saw Richerd Shermen get hurt and i felt bad.
I got angery so I ate alot. I  had 3 sodas 9 slammed  doors 4 ripped books and 2 punched walls. A hole lot of mistakes for the Broncos, but a big win for the Seahawks.

MY SNOW DAY

On Thursday night I went to bed and in my head I thought and prayed for a snow day. :)
In the night I dreamed it was a snow day and there was no school so I can go swimming in my swimming pool.
In the morning when I woke ,my mom said "Golly gee you can watch T.V."
I was so excited I jumped out of bed and bumped my head.
I looked out my window, and all I could see the streets were as white as vanilla ice cream.
I screamed "yeah"and planed out my day.
I started my day with a t.v. show and looked out my window and saw more snow.
I played a video game called Temple Run 2 and realized I didn't have any food.
My mom made me eggs,bacon and toast which I love the most.
It was time to read so I grabbed my most favorite book I read for 50 minutes and did my post-it.
I thought about sledding in the park but when I looked out my window it was already dark.
My snow day went by so quick I thought about Monday and started feeling sick.

Hannah's Peter Pan Review

Today,Thursday,October 10th we went on a field trip to a play at the New Victory Theatre to see Peter Pan.A story that has been told many times.I found it to be very humorous even though it had some inappropriate aspects to it,such as bad language,but I still think I liked it. What I did not like about the play was that it had other inappropriate aspects that I don't think I should say,but then they rated it a 'kid friendly' play.I also didn't like how they made you see the people ringing the bells for Tinker Bell's 'fairy language,for me,it took away some of the magic of the play. What I think they should work on is not making ALL the scenes in Wendy's bedroom,I mean it was very creative but with all the scenes being in Wendy's bedroom you don't feel like they really are in a pirate ship or at mermaid lagoon. This play reminded me a lot about the trip to BAM because they both took place in the room they started in. All in all I would give the play a rating of 50/50.

PETER PAN in TIMES SQUARE!!!!!

Today on this gloomy day,I got exited to get out of school!The whole 5th grade walked through times square. We were going to see the play of Peter Pan!!!! When I was sitting in my seat,the lights dimmed,and Nana the dog started barking. It made me feel like the show would be funny. The show was hilarious!!! It was hilarious because Tinkerbell kept cursing!!!!!!!!! Also,when Smee through the sward up to Captain Hook, he missed it!! The sward went flying! The actors almost even cracked up too!! One thing I could of done without, was that Michael was a grown woman! Also John was taller than Peter Pan. All and all I liked it a lot. Aside from Tinkerbell cursing, I thought it could be a little less babyish.

Peter Pan was a fun and creative show. The acting was exhilarating! It was creative. The cast managed to transform the whole room into every set.
          It fun because I go to the New Victory a lot, and to go with all my classmates was a new experience. I liked the end because we got to ask questions to the cast at the end of the performance.
          The acting was exhilarating. I felt like I was in the performance with the cast. Even though we didn't have good seats, the show was still amazing.
          In conclusion, the show is recommend to kids of all ages. I hope to see more shows like this one.
                      THAT WAS MY EXPERIENCE AT PETER PAN!  

Peter Pan Review

I think peter pan was really really fun.I liked how they all played many different parts like Nana and the lost boy or captain hook and the father.I think my favorite characters were the twins and captain hook! The twins were cool because I am a twin and I thought they were really funny.I liked captain hook because because he was really cool and funny. The theater was really really nice and cool.the other characters were cool to but the twins and captian hook are still my favorite. I think they could have done a better job with the hiding but they still did a fairly good job.They also could have done a better job with the sword captan hook didn't catch.
