Where Sadie Is From
ice cream on hot days.
I am from 1926 pennies on
the street, and games of Life on the
long weekends.
I am from all the cuddles at night and the love and kindness i get from my family.
I am from Mom, Dad, and brother, and me when we try to squeeze in bed but one of us is always ending up on the chair ( Mostly me ).
I am from
Delancey and Harlow, my dogs, as they jump on the couch and sleep.
I am from
the fresh orange juice from the juicer, and the mocha bagels from down the street
I am from all the sayings I heard, all the lessons I learned, and
all the songs I sung.
These little things make me who I am.
And the person I will be.
